Welcome to the Vasculitis Center at The University of Chicago
Here at the Vasculitis Center, we hope to offer you individualized, comprehensive care for your disease. By working with our colleagues throughout the University, we hope to provide our patients with help in making the diagnosis of vasculitis, understanding the disease, monitoring for signs and symptoms of worsening disease, and offering therapies and guidance to help each patient.
Dr. Anisha Dua joined the University of Chicago in December 2013 and is an Assistant Professor of medicine in the Section of Rheumatology and the Director of the Fellowship Program. She sees patients at the University’s vasculitis clinic on the main campus in Hyde Park as well as in downtown Chicago.
Dr. Dua attended Medical School and received a masters in Public Health from George Washington University and then went on to pursue an Internal Medicine Residency as well as a Rheumatology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. While at Rush, she trained with Dr. Antoine Sreih, former director of the Rush Vasculitis Clinic. She developed a strong interest in vasculitis and in-depth understanding of the issues facing patients with the disease. After completing fellowship training she was the Director of Medical Education for the Department of Rheumatology at the Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
